Self Assessment
CVG offers a service to carry out a free health check on your organisation to ensure it is compliant with statutory and legal obligations and is operating within the parameters of its constitution, and that the Trustees/Directors/Committee Members are following good governance practices.
The 1st step is to download our Organisational Self Assessment Form below (Word can be filled in electronically, and PDF should be handwritten).
Complete the self assessment form being as honest as possible. Use a capital X to populate each box requiring an answer, and provide some text in the appropriate field to support your answer.
If you find you have answered more than 11 questions with "I Don't Know" then please seek assistance from another member of your organisation who may know the answers.
Once completed, please e-mail the form to office@cvg.org.uk
What happens next?
Once we have received the self assessment form we will review all of the information provided and write a confidential report on the health of your organisation.
We may come back to you to clarify any answers that are unclear or where we require more information.
Any areas where deficiencies have been identified we will provide options or guidance on how to rectify the situation, or how we might be able to support your organisation.
We may also comment on areas which are satisfactory, but were we could see room for improvement to strengthen the health of your organisation. You are not obliged to act on these recommendations nor in fact any of the observations within the report.
The contents of the self assessment and the report will remain the confidential property of CVG and the organisation in question and will not be made available to any statutory body or outside organisation without the expressed permission of the said organisation
